Happy New Year! Whilst most are out drinking the night away, I'm at home blogging. It's actually where I'd rather be. We've gotten hold of some British comedy gold and some champagne and we'll be remaining on the couch. I've never been one for news years eve parties, I'm a bit of a new years scrooge. I spent the better part of my teens and twenties working in bars and restuarants where I'd recieve double pay for working, so I'd always rather do that than spend double drinking, and the habit stuck. Start as you mean to go on I guess!
So here I am, I'll work, watch TV, and make sure to let the new year in the front door and send the old one out the back and sing along to Auld Lang Syne on the telly. A timeless tradition.
2011 was a good year for me. It treated me well and has left me really looking forward to 2012, in which I'm only hoping (and working for) bigger and better things.
I'm going to be posting various resolutions, however vague, on the old tumblr throughout New Years Day, so stay tuned.
