Thanks to being horribly sick whilst I was in London (delirious and bed ridden with no voice and a fever - it was super awesome) I only made it to two London Fashion Week shows (two worth writing about anyway...) But they were two superb shows, which helps. The first was Antoni + Alison, which I've already written about - the second was Jasper Conran which I managed to catch just before passing out (seriously- kinda)
Anyway, Jasper Conran was all about texture, a palette of really fabulous neutrals - palest pinks, rich browns and wonderful vanillas - it was a natural ice cream fest with glorious vintage silhouettes. Voluminous coats and pretty dresses. It was decadent and ladylike but modern and sexy at the same time. Utterly obsessed with the polkadot dress.
I'm thankful that, despite missing nearly all of LFW, I made it to this show.
